**Personal plan and above.** Test history requires a paid plan (Personal, PRO, or Agency). Free users see a preview of this tab with an upgrade prompt.

## Accessing Test History

Navigate to **Speed in China → Log** in your WordPress admin. This tab displays a chronological list of all past speed tests.

## What the Log Contains

Each log entry records:

* **Timestamp** — When the test was run (displayed in your site's timezone)
* **URL Tested** — The specific URL that was tested
* **Average Load Time** — Mean total time across all probes
* **Performance Grade** — Color-coded indicator (green, yellow, red)
* **Per-Location Results** — Expandable view showing individual probe data (DNS, TCP, TLS, TTFB, Download, Total, Status) for each China location
* **Test Source** — Whether the test was run manually or via scheduled automation

## Filtering the Log

The log supports filtering by date range. Use the date filters at the top of the log to narrow down results to a specific time period, making it easy to identify performance trends or correlate changes with deployments.

## Data Storage

Test history is stored in your WordPress database as a serialized array in the `sic_speed_test_history` option. Data is stored locally on your server — no external services or third-party databases are involved.

**History is not preserved on uninstall.** If you deactivate and delete the plugin, all test history is removed from the database. Export any important data before uninstalling.

## Practical Use Cases

* **Track optimization impact** — Run a test before and after making changes (e.g., enabling Google Font localization, adding a CDN) to measure the improvement.
* **Monitor trends** — With scheduled testing, your log grows automatically, letting you spot regressions early.
* **Client reports** — Show clients a timeline of their site's China speed performance before and after your optimization work.
